Lovely London Rifle Brigade badge. Not a collar nor a shoulder title, it's a field service cap badge. Pre-WW1 probably also worn on the slouch hat around the turn of the century.

Are they quite common?
My collecting field is UK SAS and i know little of other arms.

I can't say I've seen too many, I have one myself thankfully (see my album). I'm sure there are a few members who would be happy to relieve you of it !
