ADEN PROTECTORATE LEVIES title
I have my doubts about this title. I was under the impression the APL only wore Khaki Drill uniforms with metal titles. Somebody make my day and tell me this is in fact a perfect specimen of a badge worn only on battle drees for the Victory Parade...
Stephen.

APL cloth title
The APL did have an unofficial cloth title. I was advised of this by RA Daly who ended his days in the Diwan of Royal Court Oman. Attached is a rather poor photograph he sent me of the actual title. The same title is shown on page 100 of The Armed Forces of Aden and the Protectorate 1839-1967 by Cliff Lord and David Birtles.

No sign of a cloth title but some nice badge and uniform details in this Pathe newsreel;- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy4NClDMgeM

Aden Protectorate Levies
Thanks for replies.
This badge is probably hand embroidered with a black cloth applied to cover the rear stitching. It certainly does resemble to unofficial version posted. Stephen.

This badge is white wool thread on a dark green cloth. The backing on the reverse is black.
Stephen.
