Hi there guys

What years did the SAAF wear nutria field dress? Is it still worn today?

IIRC the first Army ones came out about 1971 but not in general wear until a few years later. The Soldier 2000 camouflage uniforms were issued from the earl/mid 1990s and eventually replaced the Nutria ones. As usual, it took a few a years for the changeover to complete. Maybe someone else may be able to give us some more accurate dates for the Air Force? Looking through a book I have on the SAAF Gymnasium Nutria was being worn in 1974.
