Was the Royal Northumberland Fusiliers Officers S+G cap badge made with a slider/vertical shank?

Yes, there was a short slidered version Sonofacqms pointed out a while back.
Later I bought one.

Leigh thanks for link, reckon I've bagged a Birmingham Mint example, the fixing of the two parts is identical to one in GGA's album.

I had a slight wobble when I bought my one, just in case it was a B'ham Mint but fortunately a quick check of the album's reassured me.
