Royal Rifles of Canada?

Hi All,

Looking to get a Royal Rifles of Canada badge to add to the collection. Does anyone have any ideas as to the last type they were wearing on amalgamation in 1965, or are all badges the same? The Prince Consort Crown instead of a QC or KC has thrown me a bit!

Ebay shows different examples available and I'd like to try and get a good one!

Hi Paul, The Royal Rifles badge had the same pattern crown throughout the period they existed. It is the Hanoverian crown. If you are looking for a good example, I would prefer the blackened pattern with lugs. For some reason there are a lot of badges for this regiment in finishes other than blackened.
