Default 15th Field Battery Canadian Artillery

Hello,
Can anyone provide info on the late 19th century early 20th century 15th field battery of the canadian artillery. Included below are photos of a late 19th century helmet ( Hobson & Sons location on Lexington St as of 1890 stamped on inside of helmet and engraved on the helmet tin). Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The 15th Shefford Field Battery headquartered at Shefford Quebec, 1895. In 1905 it is listed as being in the 7th Brigade of Field Artillery. There is a 15th Field Battery on the order of battle of the 6 Brigade C.F.A. , CEF. I am not sure this is the same 15th as the militia.

Hobsons and Sons was located at Lexington street fro 1880 to the turn of the century before moving to Tooley street. As was metiond previously, both the helmet and tin carry this address. The 15th Field Battery was located at Shefford in 1895. So it would suggest that the helmet and tin are from between 1895 and 1900 ( when Hobson relocated to Tooley St). But the helmet ould very well have been worn for many years thereafter. So now to find out about the owners service record ( Lieut C McK Cotton) and if he was part of the CEF.

Thank you Bill
