I don't see why? The Canadian troops received their US uniforms and insignia in the US and would have received the same stuff as the other members of the FSSF - regardless of national origin. Do you mean that replacement items may have differed? Especially in that period after the Canadians left the FSSF - and before the officers were sent to another Canadian Regiment - and they were allowed to wear the crossed arrows as a beret badge?
