Hi Ray, You are likely correct that the WW2 era Canadian Para badges are not that scarce in comparison to other Canadian regiments. However, they are in high demand. The allure of the speical forces type units / para units are part of the drive that increases the prices to the stratosphere. Many collectors specialize in that area and may not be interested in any other Canadian insignia. Supply and demand.
