St Edward's Oxford.
K&K are missing St Edward's Oxford OTC first pattern badge. I have researched it and the OTC wore it from 1908-16.
The second pattern was worn 1916-24 (7th photo) K&K do show the 3rd pattern badge that was worn from 1925 until the 1960's. The 3rd photo shows the star badge worn on OTC exercise over a white tape. The CCF at some point in the 60's adopted the OBLI badge. Last edited by Alan O; 18-08-23 at 02:44 PM. |

First photo is pre 1916.
Second photo is 1916-24. The 3rd photo is of the rifle team in 1916. The 4th photo is of the PSI in 1925 and dates the start of the 3rd pattern badge. This was worn by the OTC, JTC and CCF. This is a relatively common badge. Last edited by Alan O; 19-08-23 at 08:46 AM. |
