Info on this Chindits cloth badge?
Hi, I purchased a load of military and this was in with it, a military pouch, silk map and the Chindits cloth bullion badge. I would love to know your thoughts on the badge, age, value etc, I am looking to sell at some point in the future. TIA. Ps I don’t know why the photos are side on I photographed them straight?

The patch looks fine and period made to my eye…. As far as price, here in the U.S you can see these go for up to $300 on the high end however… $200 to $250 would be more of an average range.

If they items all came together then it is likely that it belonged to someone on the first Chindit expedition, Operation Longcloth. In the second expedition they were issued with orange coloured cloth escape maps.
