Another one of my suspect badges. Pretty sure it’s duff.
Thanks
Chris.

I always felt that it was a struggle to get hold of a really nice example to that particular regiment, but, it is not difficult to buy an original example, I would certainly seek a refund if I were you.

Thanks frank.
I was pretty sure this one was duff, but don’t have the confidence yet to be sure.
Would much rather run them by you guys first.
After all who wants duff badges in their collection.
Regards
Chris

The problem is with Cavalry that they have become so bloody expensive these days, they are out there to be bought, but, at a truly awful price.

The two regiments I concentrate on are the royal engineers and the Devonshire regiment. Devonshire regiment is not to bad. But some royal engineers badges are very expensive. I wanted a Victorian engineer volunteers helmet plate, selling at Stroud auctions. It went for £480. Before fees. I would also like to complete a set of infantry Victorian and post Victorian.
So have already sold off all my corps badges, think I will keep all others, IE cavalry
Volunteer
Officer ETC and sell it off at a much later date.
I am just enjoying the hobby again.
Regards
Chris

Well, it is a hobby and it should be enjoyed, I certainly think it is wise to specialise.
