Default Nurses with wings

Interesting picture of RFC nurses .Note the "Red Cross " wing on the ladies hat and the nurse with a wing on her chest. Also the chap in uniform ,any idea about his collar badges ,they couldn`t be those supposed Ankh RAF/RFC medical collars could they .I`ve personally never seen a picture of them being worn if they ever existed,

The picture is too poor a resolution to confirm the badges. Have you tried scanning the pic as a much higher resolution and then blowing up the area of interest. In the meantime here is a picture of an Airman wearing the "Ankh" badges dated 1918.
