Default Unknown Ramrod, Crashed, SOS signs

Hi,
Would anyone know what these signs would have been originally used for, I was thinking Military/RAF as crashed & ramrod but can't find similar. Largest signs are 5".
Thanks

Look similar to items used on 'plotting tables' in RAF Ops Rooms. They remind me of my visit to the Battle of Britain bunker in Uxbridge.

Thanks Mike, that seems to be what they would have been used for.
