Badge Identification
Hi,
Trying to identify a badge I found. Think it’s a lapel badge because of the clasp type. Has JR Gaunt London on the back and what I think is the Kings crown, so pre 1952. |

Comrades of the Great War Irish member's badge by Gaunt of London.
The Comrades of The Great War were formed in 1917 as a non-political association to represent the rights of ex-servicemen who had served during The Great War 1914-1918. It later merged with other ex-servicemen's organisations to form the British Legion. The badges had a membership number stamped on the button hole fitting. .
