Default Naafi. Newbie asking

Hi guys.

I wonder if you can help me?

A friend of mine's Gran is 91, and served in the NAAFI in Wakefield and East Yorkshire during WW2. The old girl currently resides in Bridlington, and while on the Bridlington scooter rally last weekend, I got talking to her, and she mentioned that she used to have a NAAFI badge, and that she lost it years ago.

Now I know there are hat versions about, with the split pin, (Plenty on the net.) but was there ever a lapel type with a safety pin type catch?

The reason I ask, is I would like to get hold of a one for her, and present it to her before, dare I say it, it is too late.

I also know a lot of them are issued as numbered, but in fairness given the age of the old girl, I don't think that would bother her.

Many thanks for your help.

Ken.
