British Columbia Dragons "Sully"
Sully instead of Scully: a mistake or a fake? Thank you very much for your opinion. Oriano

Also "Dragoons" not Dragons.
Badge good or bad, no idea. Marc

The Scully error mark certainly raises questions. There is no record of that mark.

I've had one of these in my collection for 25+ years now and have always thought of it as genuine, despite the 'Sully' error mark. A heavy, well stamped badge in a high copper content brass (very red/brown).
I never questioned the error in the maker's mark as there is absolutely no consistency to how any Scully badges are marked.

Bill, could you post an image of the marking on your badge please?

Hi Bill, I'll see if I can find a photo of the back on my HD, otherwise I would have to dismount the badge from the frame it is in... however, from what I recall, it is identical in marking to the badge that started this thread.

Probably a scully factory die error, the BCD EM Badge is too common to copy.

The badge was copied by badgeman2005. Examples are still floating around. The reason why begs questions, but he made copies of all kinds of very common badges.
