Black on green or camo trade badges status ?
I see alot of these but are they official or quasi official or just plain private purchase but tolerated or fully acknowledged ?

Private purchase and not allowed according the MTP dress regulations but in the past have been tolerated depending on which regt/cap badge is wearing them.
The Army Dress Committee has come down on such things in the last couple of years and a lot of units have been ordered to remove 'regtl' and unofficial badges. |

They are an "out of sight, out of mind" item.
