Default No. 2 Armoured Train?

Hello All,

I'm searching for background on No.2 Armoured Train. Specifically, where it operated, technical details, when it began operation and when suspended (I know it ran well into the 1920s at least). Also, who (regiment or corps) staffed armoured trains at this time and was any distinctive insignia involved? Thanks for any help!

Hi Mark you can try this site
http://blog.nrm.org.uk/armoured-trai...rst-world-war/ a reply near the bottom mentions 'Alice' no.2 Armoured Train
The site has a few other articles on WW1 trains and men and they may be able to help with further enquiries
Paul
