Coldstream Guards a/a Shoulder Titles or East Lancashire Collars
Hello
I have these three sets of Tudor roses. The top and middle row are definitely part Coldstream Guards shoulder titles. The top ones are brass and the middle a/a and both sets have the double 'spade type' lugs normally seen on titles. I have the letters for the a/a set but have not shown them for simplicity. The a/a roses on the bottom row however have a single collar type lug each. Could these therefore be East Lancashire Regiment a/a collars? Cheers Mark |

I agree with Bob, East Lancs or more recently Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry. Also worn by the King’s Own Fusiliers.

Thanks for the information gents most helpful, though I did have a 'what the heck' moment with the King's Own Fusiliers, until I saw the attached pictures. I think I was working in Saudi when that was on UK TV so it did give me pause for thought. Has Jerome what's his face got them upside down though? Nice one!

Bob,
I don’t know on buttons. The cap and collar badges (with blue over white hackle) turn up in others TV dramas. I have the hackle and RRF type cap badge in new metals but not the earlier RWF type. Tim
