Unknown WW2 silver badge manufacturer
Hello
Can anybody ID the producer of WW2 Polish Army in Exile silver badge marked like this: mark.jpg ? M and G in diamonds. SIL = SILVER I guess. Thanks Rafal

I don't think SIL is a mark that is/was used in the UK and it's likely to be of Continental Europe origin. Paul |

But don't the Germans use a number marking systen, like 800 and 925? I may be wrong on this, but given that it is Polish I would look at Palestine. I assume that the Yiddish word for silver would be derived from the German. Maybe all will be revealed when we see what this item is?
