Golden Hawks Belt Buckle
I bought a Golden Hawks belt buckle recently on eBay. I believe it to be a genuine, period piece dating from 1959 or 1960. A quick search of "Profile Industries" from this era doesn't come up with anything. The item is also marked, "Made in Canada" on the reverse. It's a fairly hefty buckle weighing about 160 gm and ~2 1/2" in diameter (to mix units). I've never seen it in photos nor have I read that it was ever an optional piece of "kit" so a bit of a mystery. There must be a story here - any thoughts?
