Default Unexpected Militaria On Display

Had a very nice day out with the family today at The Galleries of Justice in Nottingham , well worth a visit. In a display relating to The Great Train Robbers there is what is described as a “combat jacket” worn by a member of the gang…it is in fact a lovely WW2 half zip Dennison smock! Other things of interest are some nice painted shield of the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry, Robin Hood Rifles, South Notts Hussars and Sherwood Foresters. Finally a lovely tribute to members of Nottingham Corporation Transport who died in service in WW1 with original portrait photographs of all those named …
