Default Silver Coldstream Guards officers badge Gaunt

Got this beautiful little bargain delivered today, hallmarked 1984 just wanted to check the makers mark is JR Gaunt?

Well I love the attached badge just as much and deliberately bought it in this condition. I like a good, humble badge but it's hard to beat a bit of glamorous Guards bling especially if it's hallmarked

Yes and no. Was this not actually Birmingham Mint, who owned Gaunt at that time? The original Gaunt mark is JRG&S.
