Malay Regiment.

Askar Melayu (The Malay Regiment). The Regiment's crest is a pair of tigers, supporting an Oriental Crown. Within the circle of the crest are a kris and a scabbard with the Regimental motto "Ta'at Setia" written in Jawi, meaning "Loyal and True".

Awra best

William

ROYAL Malay Regiment. Before receiving its royal title the left and right scrolls were blank. The badge for the Songkok is bereft of supporters and scrolls, but script in Jawi characters in the circlet.

On eBay already... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WW2-ROYAL...gAAOSwvjtcnL8O

Beautifully described.

P.S. I would say your Paddington Rifles is less well described, it’s neither Boer War nor a ‘near mint original’. Near mint fake, albeit mint is subjective in this case. The solid centre ‘variety’ QVC RE is also fake, additionally it’s not bronze.

I agree Luke, both fake badges, and the description on nearly all the cap badges listed are WW1 even the PWRR [princess Of Wales's Royal Regiment]
