Default Help Needed Identifying Badge

Sorry if this is in the wrong area.
This was found in a NZ lake and need help identifying it please
i thought it said First Guards, but the Crown confuses me

I am not certain but it looks like a "Shoulder Belt Plate", hook at the top with the two lower studs broken off. The style of Crown was used by most of the Georges. After George the 1st a number was added to indicate 2nd , 3rd and 4th normally entwined around the top left of the letter G. They were used on Ordnance, not sure about other items.
Looks like FIRST GUARDS to me as well.

Yes, i wish i had found it, but my mate did and hes not letting me forget he found it. haha
What era are we talking?

Does anyone have a reference to a book or google site that would show what one in good condition looks like
