It might have been made yesterday but Royal Navy and Royal Marine cloth badges are often seen with the VOCAB number embroidered or printed on the top right. It should be cut off before the badge is sewn on the uniform!

Be careful with these numbers, the regalia specialist used a similar system to identify his badges, and the first digit on this one looks like an S not a 3.
