Here is another good copy being sold by eBay seller pe1ju2. In fairness to the seller they do state in their description the badge is not original.

Newfoundland copy badges
There are a lot of copy Newfoundland regiment badges turning up. Way too many Newfoundland badges being listed on auction sites in recent years. Some versions are easy to detect and some are good enough to fool when looking at online. Best not to purchase any of these badges without money back refunds.

It certainly pays dividends to sit back and take a long, hard and critical look at a potential purchase these days.

Hi Dan,
Bought with a small lot of vintage items & badges at auction here in the U.K. It looks good to me but I'm no expert on this badge Thanks Colin |

NEWFOUNDLAND BADGE
I can't tell from the pics. Nice striking but very hard to say. I recently purchased a similar one that I thought was a copy but looked very crisp. Very dangerous copy as it was very good except you could see lugs were off a bit. It came from UK.
