Default Bermuda Militia Artillery

Please could anyone tell me anything about this unit and what (cap) badge it wore.
I assume it was a variant on the usual RA gun badge !!!
thanks

Default Bermuda Militia Artillery

Julian,
According to Cox ,formed 1902,in WW1, a contingent from this unit was absorbed in to the British Army and became known as the Bermuda Battery RGA and from July 1916 took part in a number of major engagements.

In 1965 amalgamated with the Bermuda Rifle Vol. Corps to become The Bermuda Regiment.

The badge is the same as the british militia artillery badge i.e. the standard Gun badge but with a letter "M" at the bottom centre.
Peter
