The story of Grimsey being stung 3 times by a scorpion and that scorpion was then used to design the famous LRDG badge has become one of the greatest New Zealand badge legends, no one could tell the story better except Grimsey himself.

Would anyone care to comment as to whether or not the LRP badge in this post is an original struck example?

Thanks Edy
