As no one has replied to this thread, my personal opinion is these are very well made items and l personally like to see thin tissue backings as a sign of a well made item. I might also add l know nothing at all about the unit or organisation mentioned.

I don't think the far east can make copies that good. Look to be very well made.

Dear all,
Thanks for your inputs. As explained, they were both in an African grouping coming from auction. I first did not know what they were. I have found some information about those wings on some French forums. They could be Katangese «veteran» wings made in the NL after the Katanga War. I will keep them, by waiting to know more about them. Thank you.
