Default Royal Sussex Terrier?

Based on the shoulder title which appears to have a detached 'T' (last image), I'm pretty certain this photograph is of a Royal Sussex 'terrier'.

Is 1927 a bit late for this unit to have been wearing these; and if not, when might the demise of the 'T'-type titles realistically have come into effect?

With thanks as always,

JT

My copy of Regulations for the Territorial Army dated 1936 - and incidentally stamped for 13th Sussex Company ATS - states in Para 548 that;-

The title of the unit in gilding metal (black for rifle regiments) will be worn on the shoulder strap of service dress jackets and greatcoats. Yeomanry Regiments, including those converted to other arms will wear the letter Y and other units (except the Lovat Scouts and The Scottish Horse) will wear the letter T.

So still correct at that date.
