Unknown Fusilier, London regiment or R.M.A.?

I am struggling to identify this cap badge. It is clearly not Royal Welsh Fusiliers, Northumberland Fusiliers or Royal Fusiliers, Royal Munster or Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. I thought it might be 7th London Regiment, but it isn't. It might be Royal Marine Artillery but i don't think that it is.

The photograph was taken in 1918 at the earliest but no later than 1920.

Any thoughts welcome.

Grenadier Guards.

A few variations on the GG flames, the one worn in the image looks like one of the varieties with less points to the flames than some of the others, or perhaps "shaped" with the flames curved back at the sides.

I would say that it appears to be smaller than the standard Grenadier Guards cap badge. Leigh though, has posted a smaller than average example in his post. (2nd from left in his second picture).

RMA would be second choice.

I think he’s RMA. Note on all the GG badges the flames spray out well past the ball of the grenade whereas the flames on this chaps badge barely make it to the edge, just like the RMA. Also flames 2nd from bottom on both sides of his badge protrude the furthest unlike GG.

RMA in my opinion, here is a similar badge being worn by a Long Serving Sergeant wearing what appears to the ribbon of the Naval Long Service and Good Conduct medal.

I don't believe he's a Guardsman. Grenade seams very small.
