Well, for the Great War, I really shouldn't worry too much if I were you, once the game was in play, you certainly would not expect to see them, everyone went into Serge or Drill for the duration, depending upon where they were actually serving.

You should note that they differ slightly from the more substantial white metal eagle used upon the cap badge and they do face of course.

Well, I think it's quite a nice period to collect, very much the golden age, the British cavalry were truly magnificent and well ahead of their European counterparts.
