Default Women's Land Army

I recently was asked to identify the armband shown and thought it may be of interest to others. It is a World War I WLA armband for someone who served for 4 years.

Dave,

Interesting and unusual. The single crown armband was worn briefly by the WLA of WW2 but was soon replaced by the well known version with a small crown and the letters WLA below.
