Default Unknown Badge and Cloth items

I'd be obliged for any help with these. The cloth items I'm informed are from someone in the Medical field who served in the Far East in WWII.

Hi there,

1 & 2 = Royal Jersey Light Infantry.

Normally I think the lions are facing the 'other way' (i.e. facing left, rather than facing right as these are). So not sure if this is a collar badge that has had a slider applied or because of wartime shortages - did they wear collars as cap/beret badges???
Sorry, can't be more help.

Cheers

Ian

The black/yellow shield - WW2 38 (Welsh) Inf Div, the Rose - post 1947 Catterick Garrison and the Wyvern - 43 (Wessex) Inf Div - WW2 and post-War. Also a trio of printed Infantry AoS strips. No Far East connections there. Mike

So the story goes, collar badges were converted for wear as cap badges.

With the introduction of BD the collar badges ceased to be worn so they were converted to cap badges with left or right facing leopards. Personally, I don't like the look of the badge shown, it has a rough look to it and I think it's a dud. Just my opinion of course!!.
