Default The Royal Lancers patch

Just had this in. I have been told it is the latest TRF for them. Can anyone confirm this for me please, and, if possible, when it took over from the former one which didn't have the coloured background

Default Its official

Hi the green one was the TRF for QRL, now they have merged they have taken colours from all of the merged and come up with the new one.
Incidentally I have spoken to three former QRL and they all hate that the motto has been ripped apart for the new badge. It is not popular!

Hello Badger!

I can confirm its genuine and it replace the QRL TRF in May 2015 on amalgamation with the 9/12L, along with all other insignia etc.

Actually, its one of two variant's, please see images made/supplied by John Bull in Catterick Garrison.

I hope that helps clarify matters for you

Cheers
Rob

I suppose ex 9/12th will be equally disappointed that their old badge has almost disappeared especially as they are the senior partner.
