Default Royal Irish rifles QVC Forage Cap Badge - real ?

I have never seen sight or reference of a QVC version of the RIR forage cap badge.

I have always thought they went straignt from the QVC FSC badge to the KC Forage Cap Badge (with scroll ends voided)

I am quite skeptical of this, does anyone have good supporting evidence for this badge?

IMO,
What we have here is a 'Fantasy badge' - ie a badge that can't be called a copy, restrike, repro etc, because this badge never existed.
This badge should only be found with a King's crown and Queen Elizabeth crown.
Unfortunately, 'One means many', and because some collector's are beginner's or don't bother to learn their hobby, I feel these will sell like hot cakes and some will no doubt go for silly money.
STM.
Actually, now having looked in detail at the back of the badge, it could be a one off, you can see where the original crown has been removed and the QVC attached, it hasn't been done very well either. At least it looks like a new die hasn't been made, which is good news for collector's.

For what its worth,
I used to have (kick, kick) an extensive collection of RIR badges and spent many hours/days in the Rifles museum. I never recall ever having seen any sign of of a QVC version - the only "odd" badge I had - and which I have not seen again - (obtained from my wifes, fathers, sister (from Larne), was her RIR volunteer battalion (boyfriends) cap badge (in WM) which had no sign of ever having any lugs - because it was sewn on. He never came back and she ver nicely left it to me in her will. This was, unfortunately was stolen along with all my (50's collection of shoulder titles and formation signs). The only QVC RIR cap badges I recall were all KC or QC.
