Default Help with ATS insignia AA gunners

Hello,

Can anyone clarify if an AA gunner serving in the ATS wore the standard RA collar over their left breast on the BD or Service Dress only or both?
Thanks in advance!

The ATS were authorised in March 1940 to wear the badge or button of the unit with which they were employed on the SD jacket. This was usually the RA collar badge but I have seen the full gun badge worn there

I'm not aware that it was worn on BD.

I am pretty sure it was on SD only. This is my mother's WW2 insignia.

Then there are the 'Kine-Theodolite Operators'.

Not a brilliant photo but it proves the Kine-Theodolite badge was worn on BD.
