Default Dublin Metropolitan Police cap badge

Hello all,

Like I understand this type of cap badge was used for enlisted police constables circa 1902 until transfer over to ROI Garda?

Also, any ideas how much it is worth?

Kind Regards,

Phaethon

It is a DMP, Other Ranks cap badge circa 1902-1911 (nickle, non-voided). Information taken from this forum which may be of some use to you and others in the future.
