HMS Nonsuch (ex German destroyer Z38)
Hello all,
Could any of our Naval collectors please confirm if there was a Nonsuch cap ribbon worn on the above ship while she was in Royal Navy service (1945-1948)? Even better, could someone show an example if it does indeed exist? Thanks in advance, Andrew |

Does anyone know of a decent forum specifically for the Royal Navy?

Thanks for your help Mike.
I am specifically trying to find out if there was a Cap Ribbon (Tally) produced and worn in the period that the ex German Destroyer Z38 was in Royal Navy service. As we know, named ribbons where slow to be re issued after the end of the war and I fear that I might be chasing unicorns again. I also understand that some of the German crew remained on board after she was handed over. Thanks again, Andrew |
