RCAF Royal Canadian Air Force cap badge - genuine or fake?

Hi,

Please could someone advise if this Royal Canadian Air Force cap badge is genuine or fake?

The casting seems too crude to be genuine but I might be mistaken and would appreciate any opinions / feedback if possible.

Hi Stma. I would treat the badge as a copy. It MAY have been a theatre made cast badge.

Looks to me like it's just been heavily polished. I'd be comfortable with it
