Looking for Current Canadian Manufacturers
We recently had a badge restruck for our kit shop. Unfortunately the quality was not quite what we were hoping for. Attached is a picture of an original along with the restrike.
I am looking for current Canadian manufacturers. I have been in touch with William Scully- unfortunately the cost is prohibitive from this manufacturer. I have also contacted Pressed Metal Products (PMP) in Vancouver - this company seems like a good prospect. Does anyone know of any other current Canadian badge manufacturers? Thank you! |

Hi Tom
You are close I will bet. If it is the manufacturer that I am thinking of and only one would do such poor quality and try and pass it off as good quality, they make them in Pakistan and the business is located in Northern Ontario. They have made a number of badges under contract to DND and they are all so poor that it is not even funny. How they passed the quality assurance inspectors I will never know but they have. regards Dave |

If anyone knows where I could get this DND Ceremonial manufacturer list - I would appreciate it. Please private message me. Thanks a lot.

I am now in touch with the Great Canadian Mint in Edmonton, Alberta. I will post once I receive a sample - but it looks promising!
