The very same, ex Rhodesia LRDG vet but issues at the para school in Palestine. The jump course (I have a list of attendees) included SAS men.

Shaun,

Do you believe the wings issued at Ramat David were made locally in Palestine?

Cheers,

Johan

Thats a hard one. They have that look about them and the other LRDG stuff (NZ and Rhodesian) was made in Palestine according to vets. It would be a logical assumption to make but I am certain a 1,000 experts will voice their opinion on this one...

Alex is right. I paid stuff all for it and hard it a while now so never looked. UV light shows repairs. I guess the next question is should I cut the repaired threads away and leave it in original stae showing age. I am thinking yes.

If it shows repairs, that leans towards the original badge having all black threads across the wings..
