Default Beret badge

Hi,

This beret badge does not match a known pattern of beret badge. I have not seen it before.

It looks vaguely like the winged dagger patch and beret badge worn by early 21 SAS.

To me it does not look like a very modern copy, it is possibly a Malayan period copy.

It is hard to be very precise about it. Does it glow under UV light?

Cheers.

Johan

I doubt very much if it would glow. For a start only white materials glow, and then only synthetic at that. I'd be 99% certain its silk thread, which being natural won't glow.

Its clearly hand made, but not by a professional tailor or embroiderer. I'd think it was theatre made, probably 50s, by someone used to such work but not skilled in it.
