Great that I found this blog...I recently purchased two postcards showing a total of 3 women police officers....dated 1919. I believed that they were North Eastern Railway Police, as they had female police officers during WW1. When I received them I saw the cap badge with the crown and George V cypher, then puzzled whether they were Carlisle City Police or Westmorland & Cumberland Constabulary.
Now I know that they were Ministry of Munitions Womens Police Service.....even more of a find than I thought...so thanks very much to you all, especially Altcar73 for the clear images. Thanks - Polsa999 |

You mention 'ROF 19' as being Poole, Dorset: would that have been the one at Holton Heath?
And, as regards the original post: I have both the first and last badges (had the latter for over 30 years, I still like it).
