I dont really collect British Corps badges and have had this one for a while in the "unknown" box. Found a similar one in Kipling and King ( KK1054) . Is the George V1 version ?
Thanks Mike |

It looks like a homemade sweetheart badge. What are the fitting?
The MPSC wore the plain cypher and it seems that the GV wreath was mis-identified by K&K. |

Thanks, Alan
I'm not wedded to it being from the MPSC. Looking through Kipling and King , KK1054 seemed to be the closest "fit" The lugs have been crudely reattached ( see pic ), so there is no great value to the badge. I'm just intrigued. Mike |

The wreath looks like twisted rope rather than laurel leaves.

It does look like twisted rope. Does that have any heraldic significance ?
