About hackles in QOH
Hello! I know that the Queen own highlanders (seaforth & Cameron) wore the blue hackle of the Camerons on their glengarries and balmorals...but when did they wear? Always...or just with the dress uniform?

They always wore the hackle in the 1990s with all orders of dress.

Is the TOS not The Highlanders?

Same TOS i think Bob,unless the tartan patch was rotated or cut differently.
The hackle was unlikely to be worn when in the field and on NI service. |
