What period was this brass badge used please.

I have posted under General for my inherited collection but for this specific badge would it fit in the Ww1 time period with the rest of the collection.
It's always been in with the rest of the bunch as long as I can remember.

That's great, so it sounds like it's period.
I just wasn't sure if maby it was thrown in the box at a later date.
