RAF Pin Badge
Hi All,
Can anyone tell me anything about the attached RAF badge as I haven't seen this type before. It has a glittery finish (which is not tarnished even though it looks like it is), it has obviously had a pin which is missing and is a standard cap badge size. Is it a souvenir or sweetheart or has it been worn on something? Thanks a lot, Michael |

One of a set of "toy" badges from the 70's, 80's, I think, can't remember the firm that produced them offhand.......

Prob not - I have a few that I picked up as a kid from "Cheesemans" in Lewisham, I just can't remember the firm - Grey Green Acorn has them in an album I think.

Still got some on their backing cards but not in the actual packets.
Years ago I saw a blue beret with red tombstone and the Lesney RM badge sewn on it - probably belonged to a Peterborough Cadet based at the old Customs House on the River Nene embankment in the city. |
