A question to ask about side cap with thread badge
Hi everyone thanks for letting me join.
I have just enquired a side cap with stitched badge,it maybe polish. But I thought I'd ask some experts. All info would be appreciated |

I dont think you could call that a badge?
Its coloured stitching which may have been used to create a backing to a badge at best. regards

I reckon its been done too well to be just stitching ? IMHO.

I was think it may be polish as its the same colours as the monte casino cross ribbon.

I have a dealer after it but I think he knows exactly what it is,and it being just a normal service cap.

Also their seems to have been a badge over the top of the thread,which had the lugs vertical

I wonder if the Monte Cassino Cross ribbon clasp was attached to the cap?
It would be strange to have it running vertically but then the arrangement with the coloured stitching is strange too. |
